1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any booking or stay at Siesta Gardens ("we", "us"). By enquiring, booking or staying with us, you accept these terms. Where we confirm specific arrangements with you in writing, those confirmed details apply alongside these terms.
2. Enquiries and bookings
Our website works on an enquiry basis. Sending an enquiry does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once we have accepted your dates and received the required deposit. We will confirm your booking by email.
3. Our two stays
The Studio suits up to 2 guests. The Retreat suits up to 6 guests. Guest numbers must not be exceeded without our written agreement. Both units are self catering.
4. Rates and payment
Rates are shown in South African Rand and may change from time to time. The rate confirmed for your booking is the rate that applies to your stay. A deposit is required to confirm a booking, and the balance is due as set out in your confirmation, on or before arrival. Prices on other platforms such as Airbnb may differ due to their own fees and promotions.
5. Deposit, cancellation and refunds
Deposits, cancellations and refunds are handled as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Check in and check out
Check in and check out times are confirmed with your booking. Please let us know your expected arrival time so we can welcome you. Late departure may be possible by arrangement, subject to the next booking.
7. House guidelines
- Please treat the property, the grounds and our neighbours with care and keep noise reasonable, especially at night.
- No smoking inside the units. You are welcome to smoke outside.
- Only the guests included in your booking may stay overnight. Visitors by arrangement only.
- Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused during their stay.
- Please follow any pool, fire pit and braai safety guidance. Children must be supervised at all times.
8. Liability
You and your guests use the property, pool, grounds and facilities at your own risk. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss, theft, injury or damage suffered during your stay, except where it results from our failure to take reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Website content
Photographs and descriptions on this website are provided in good faith to show the property fairly. Small differences may occur as we improve the grounds and units over time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
